PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

A range of remedial waterproofing works were required to both multi-storey car parks 1 and 2 at Luton Airport. The car parks had to remain in full operation during works.

PROBLEM AND SOLUTION

The permanent shutter slabs throughout each car park had developed c. 3,000 LinM of longitudinal cracks requiring resin injection and/or overbanding.

OUTCOME

Cracks were surface-sealed with Sikadur®-31 then injected with Sikadur 52 resin. Coating works were completed using Remmers MB2K and Epoxy PUR materials.
