PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

This project comprised more than 80 no. pipe penetrations through the steel sheet-piled walls of the building’s basement housing plant rooms and car parking.

PROBLEM AND SOLUTION

Comprising penetrations with diameters of 110mm to 300mm, these all had to be plugged and sealed.

OUTCOME

A combination of Newton’s rapid sealing Leakplug system and Stopaq’s self-healing hydrophilic mastic/resin in order to achieve Grade 2 waterproofing standard for the basement car park and plant rooms were used.
