On the 20th & 21st March 2026, our Head of Business Development, Graeme Middleton, will once again swap his warm bed for a sleeping bag as he takes part in the Royal British Legion Industries’ Great Tommy Sleep Out.
And this year he’s going even further… sleeping out for TWO nights.
At Gunite, we’re incredibly proud to support Graeme as he takes on this challenge for the third year running, raising vital funds and awareness for the estimated 7,500 UK veterans currently experiencing homelessness.
The Great Tommy Sleep Out, launched by RBLI in 2021, sees participants spend a night or more outdoors to highlight the harsh reality many former service personnel face. Funds raised help provide safe housing, mental health support and employment opportunities to help veterans rebuild their lives.
The campaign takes its name from “Tommy Atkins” – the nickname used for the ordinary British soldier for centuries – and has already seen thousands of participants across the UK stepping up to make a difference.
